Dodge Viper GTS Coupe
Dodge Viper aracı Dodge firması tarafından yaratılmıs ikonlasmıs çizgilere sahip Amerikan tasarımı ve üretimi spor otomobilidir. Bu iki koltuklu super spor otomobil ilk olarak 1991 yılında New Mack Assembly Plant tarafıdan üretilmekte olup 1995 yılında Conner Avenue Assembly Plant tarafından üretilmeye devam etmistir. Ilk günkü görsel tasarımını koruyarak günümüzde hala Viper modeli yenilenerek üretilmektedir. Ilk 400HP’lik “Phase SR I” modeli piyasaya çıktıktan sonra, sadece 15HP daha güçlü versiyonu Phase SR II modeli çıkmıstır ama asıl yenilenme 1996 yılında çıkarılan 450HP’lik GTS modelinde görülmüstür. Chrysler markası General Motors’un yasadıgı finansal sıkıntılar yüzünden 2010 yılında aracın üretimini durdurmus daha sonra 2012 yılında CEO Sergio Marchionne idaresinde aracın üretimine tekrardan baslanmıstır. Viper aracı 2014 yılında yüzde 75’i Amerikan üretimi olan araçlar listesinde yerini almıstır. Devasa 7986cc motor hacmine sahip V10 motoruyla 450HP güç üreten 1996 model Viper GTS 0-100 km/h hızlanmasını 4 saniyede yapabilmekte ve 285km/h son hıza sahiptir. 26 yıllık üretim dönemine sahip bu aracın üretimine 2017 yılında son verilmistir.
The Dodge Viper is an iconic American sport car design that was manufactured by Dodge. First production of the two-seat super car Viper history began at New Mack Assembly Plant in 1991 model and moved to Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in October 1995 with model “Phase SR I”. After a 15HP additioned version Phase SR II assembled GTS model in 1997.
Although Chrysler considered ending production because of serious financial problems of General Motors, on September 2010. Then executive chief Sergio Marchionne announced and previewed a new model of the Viper for 2012. In 2014, the Viper was named number 10 on the "Most American Cars" list, meaning 75% or more of its parts are manufactured in the U.S. The Viper GTS has a huge 7986cc V10 Engine whiched can produce 450HP.
The 0-100 km/h time on a Viper varies from aroun 4 seconds and top speed range is 285km/h. The Viper was eventually discontinued in 2017 after being in production for 26 years.
