German Submarine Type IXC U67U154

1935-1936 yıllarında Nazi Almanya’sının tersanelerinde üretilen okyanus asırı yol katedebilen Type IX C U-67 denizaltı modelidir. 76 metre uzunlugunda 1120 tonluk bu Alman U-boat’una su yüzeyinde gücünü Supercharged 4-Zamanlı 9 silindirli 4400HP güç üreten “MAN M9 V40/46” tipi 2 adet dizel motoru verirken, su altında seyir edebilmesi için 1000HP güç üreten 2 adet elektrikli Siemens-Schuckert 2 GU 345/34 tipi motorundan güç almaktadır. Iki adet 2 metre çaplı pervanesiyle su yüzeyinde 34km/h hızla 24.910km mesafe, su altında 14km/h hızla 117km mesafe katedebilen bu denizaltının maksimum dalma derinligi 230 metredir. Burun kısmında 4, kıç kısmında 2 adet olarak konumlandırılan 53cm kalibrelik torpido yataklarından toplam 22 adet torpido atabilmektedir. Güvertesinde bir adet uçak savar silahı ve bir adet donanma gemilerine karsı silahı mevcuttur.
 
 
Ocean going German Type IX C U-boat was designed by Nazi Germany’s Kriegsmarine in 1935-1936. U-67 had a displacement of 1,120 tonnes. The U-boat had a total length of 76 mt,  a pressure hull length of 58 mt. The submarine was powered by two MAN M9 V40/46 supercharged four-stroke, 9-cylinder diesel engines producing a total of 4,400 horsepower  for use while surfaced, two Siemens-Schuckert 2 GU 345/34 double-acting electric motors producing a total of 1,000 horsepower  for use while submerged. She had two 1.92 m propellers. The boat was capable of operating at depths of up to 230 metres. The submarine had a maximum surface speed of 34km/h and a maximum submerged speed of 14km/h. When submerged, the boat could operate for 117km when surfaced, she could travel  24,910 km. U-67 was fitted with six 53.3 cm torpedo tubes (four fitted at the bow and two at the stern), she has 22 torpedoes, one naval gun and one anti-aircraft gun.
